It works on any character on any realm regardless of your boxing or not (aslong as its been enabled in the character selection screen).

Are you using version2? I would delete the addon from your addons folder and try downloading the on in this thread instead.

I would also have a look at Jafula's Jamba multiboxing addon. Its far superior to the old multiboxing addon (I've yet to use it though).
