Yes, you can most certainly dual box a shaman and a mage. You have some nice options with those classes: double ranged dps, healer & ranged dps, melee & ranged dps. Rather flexible given some practice.

lol quite right. account sharing is bad since its against the TOS and EULA. i wouldnt do it. if he wants to do it, well... its not my accounts and i hold no responsibility for his actions whether he gets caught or not.
