Default WAR - PvE grinding, eg. Chosen + Sorceress

I just want to recommend to try to dual-box chosen and sorceress. Later on in the game esp. in the lvl 20-25 the chosen "transforms" in a protection paladin and the sorceress nukes down everything. That way I made 70k exp / h on lvl 24. This is like boosting alts through instances (grab 7-12 mobs, nuke). This is of course is quite boring but I already did all chapters according to my level and there almost no scenarios up in tier 3.
Do you have any better ideas for fast XP? Especially this is worrying me: http://www.warcry.com/news/view/8661...ill-XP-Penalty

Playing both classes at once in PvP is frustrating. But I like solo play them if there were any available scenarios... Playing only one character must be really frustrating...

if i were going to two-box it would either be two archmages or two shamans. you can make set up a macro to target self/target each other and stack two hots.. which is enough to keep you up in most situations. when you need a spike of healing your tranq/force mechanic allows you to instant cast group or single big heal.

for damage, stacked dots and your channeled nuke can hurt. you get a tactic that turns radient gaze (your highest DPS dot) into an AoE.

the only down-side is the lack of a root and your AoE knockback isnt available until well up the tactic tree so PvP at low levels will be irritating with melee snares and roots.

i just dont see the point of tank/sorc in PvP. sure, you can kill mobs fast. this game isnt about killing mobs. your chosen is going to end up being pretty much a guard bot at r40. id rather have two characters that both contribute to DPS. you will start to feel the lack of a healer in PvP, too. nothing sucks more than dying from DoT's because you cant dispel or heal.

Sorry, this is probably a misunderstanding: I like solo play PvP, I just dont like solo PvE grinding. And the combination is just great for leveling. Often a mate joins with his zealot. But Mythic might "nerf" this soon.
You probably dont need to aoe grind since you play scenarios a lot?

    fair enough.

i wouldnt bother running two accounts for PvE, personally. the grinding speed you gain from having additional DPS and/or tanking power you lose from having to share your XP gains between two alts. for solo or even duoing its much quicker just to quest between scenarios. you get a good mix of PvP to get your RR up (for the mid-high level gear) and it breaks up the monotony of PvEing.

i could see maybe wanting to run a healer/tank duo (chosen and either shaman or zealot would be fine) so you could solo public quests and maybe help out with keep lords, etc.. but im not sure how complex end-game PvE scripting will get in WAR. i notice the higher i get the more skills and scripts heros and PQ's have. first they just started nuking.. now theyre summoning mobs, running away to nuke and stunning/knockbacks, etc. may require too much micromanaging to be effective boxed if it gets any more complex than that... either way, its a lot of effort to focus purely on PvE.. which is not the focus of the game.

if you really want to do it.. why not try a duo that will be effective in PvP as well as PvE? i duod two archmages during the beta and it works quite well. an archmage/shaman and BW/Sorc would have slightly less healing power, but access to AoE root and better DPS. gather up a few mobs with your dots, then nuke them down. while you spam 3s heal on your caster.. it would work nearly as well and it leaves you with a viable PvP team to PK with.

I probably try two sorcs, BWs or shamans later, but I want to have different classes including a lvl 40 tank.
I cant play scenarios because there is only one up per hour. With scenarios I could get like 80k exp / hour if I am lucky, but 60k would be more likely. But there really only few scenarios running...
PvE grinding with sorc alone could result in up to 60k exp / hour. PvE grinding with chosen alone would be less then 30k probably. Both together make 70k exp / h.

But if someone knows how to get more then 70k exp / h (solo play or multiboxing) at level 25 I'd really like to know about it.
