    Default Raf Question, please help

So i currently have 2 accounts, my first one with a 70 pally, other with a rogue(but forget the rogue for this)

i want to 5 box my pally, shaman, 3 hunters

so im going to recruit a friend 3 more accounts, and was wondering if i could get it to work out that i can take my lvl 70 pally, run them through instances, and the 4 lowbies will still get the 3x exp, but i want to recruit one using my pallys account for the mount, then the rest with my second account for example:

my orginal accounts will be A) and B) (a has pally on it)

    A) recruits account C) which then recuits account D), then B) recruits account e)

will this make sure the 4 lowbies get all get 3x exp , and my 70 pally doesnt nerf it for one?

As far as I know it is longer possible to boost with a high level character and still get the benefits of RAF.

Ive been boosting with my 70 warlock and it still works fine.
btw the booster must NOT be linked to any of the accounts you are boosting.

I THINK next patch is nerfing the boosting

I could have worded this a bit better, i used the word boost and boosting too many times.

btw my favourite chocolate bar is a biscuit boost

If you play 5 new characters on this set-up, all characters will get triple XP because they will all be grouped with a character on a linked account and no kill/quest will be trivial (grey) to anyone.

If you have a level 70 Paladin on account B, however, characters from accounts linked to account B won't get triple XP. In your case it means that character on account E won't get triple XP, when characters on linked account A, C and D will.

If you want to use you paladin on account B to boost others, without losing triple XP on all other accounts, then C, D and E must all be linked to A, and B must be left alone.

This is my understanding, please someone correct me if I am wrong.

Now a piece of advice :

I was a bit in you situation, several high level characters that I wanted to recycle in my groups (i.e. not to lose professions on these characters). For instance, I have a level 70 hunter and a level 60 druid. I fancy a 4xhunters + druid group. I just decided to level a brand new 5xhunters group, and then incorporate my level 70 hunter and druid when the group reaches 60, discarding two of my brand new freshly levelled hunters. The level 70 will be a great help to level from 60 to 70, when RAF doesn't apply anymore.

The way I see it is that levelling from 0 to 60 is so fast with RAF that it doesn't really require boosting. It is also a good practice at playing five characters (better than jsut 4 characters on /follow behing your Paladin). Also, more characters levelled to 60 mean more free levels to gift later on, which can always be useful.

Ok. This is the same thing that a guy I work with and I have been talking about.

    I have one level 70.
I want to level 4 more level 70 locks so I can have a 5 box lock team in the end. I was thinking that I would use my 70 lock to level them up, but I can't or shouldn't?

As of yesterday, I can confirm that you still get RAF xp bonus while being boosted by a 70. My accounts are set up as follows: A recruited C & D, B recruited E(I wanted the mounts for my already 70 toons). I spent the morning using the pally on acct B to boost Druids on acct A, C, D, E. The Druids on acct A, C, & D all got RAF xp and ended up at 34 while the Druid on acct E ended up around 31(burned rested xp and non-RAF xp). I then used my pally on acct A to boost Druids on acct B, C, D, E, so Druid on acct E can catch up to acct C & D. My plan is to have the Druids on acct C, D, E all hit 40 and gift levels to Druids on acct A & B up to 40 and continue questing.

Pippin, I would link all 5 accounts up and just 4 box the locks. I ran a 4 lock/1 priest setup and stuff died pretty quickly. My priest didn't do much besides saving my locks time on drinking(Yeah, I know. Lol locks drinking....). Prayer of Healing is bound to the same key as life tap. That way if you decide to 5 boxing another group, everyone will get RAF xp.

    Team 2: 5 80 Shamans

    Team 4: 4 61 Warlocks & 61 Holy Priest

I have been rethinking my plan since the RAF came into effect. But what is the best way to do the refer a friend way. I have two scenarios.
    Scenario one:
I cancel my "Main" account (to save on cash) and just 4 box my alt's whatever I decide to do thier. Should I just do alt b refers c,d,e? Wouldn't they all still get the 3x xp and then account b would get the bonus point for levels right that I can use to create two new level 60's on b.

    Scenerio two:
I either powerlevel my 4 alts with my main and RAF all of them to my main "A"

What is the best way for refer a friend to work? At the beggining of the year I bought 4 additional accounts and I messed up and didn't get my free months. So I want to do this right this time.
I have also had a hard time making new accounts after I have made 5. Anyone know anything about that?
