Default 10 classes, 10 man-raid content... this is going to be fun. >PVE<

So, I just finished getting my warrior, rogue, hunter and warlock to 70 today, so I now have a 70 of each class. Once WotLK comes out, it will be 10 classe as I get a Death Knight rolling. And now I have to rework my groups. My normal group consists of a Prot Pally, Holy Priest, Elemental Shaman, Balance Druid, and Fire Mage. Cleared all of BC's 5-mannable content with this. Problem is, if I maintain this set up, my other group consists of an Arms Warrior, Beast Hunter, Blah Rogue (my black sheep. Female Dwarf Rogue I have no idea what to do with.), a Demonology Lock, and a Death Knight. No healer, and maybe a tank, depending on how the DK works out.

So, things being what they are, looks like its time to fiddle with the equation. I'm looking at doing:

    Pally
    Priest
    Lock
    Druid
    Mage

    Death Knight
    Shaman (respeced to resto)
    Rogue
    Warrior
    Hunter

One magic heavy group, one melee heavy group. The lock will complement the casters nicely with Curse of Elements, and the Shaman should really boost the melee DPS of the other group. I'm going to have to rework my healers a bit, since I've been used to having the Shaman and the Priest both fire off 3 second heals on my Pally, so I'm going to have to change my healing habits a bit.

Anyway, if there's a better way I can arrange this, I'd love to hear some ideas.

    Heya BrightForge ;-)

if you plan on tanking with your paly, shouldnt he be with the melee guys? and benefit from their buffs?
Wouldn't that make it easier for aoe heals on tank ? (not sure if in woltk all those aoe spells become raid or party only)
i would swap the paly with the shaman, but probably have no clue what i'm saying ;-)

Guess I should clarify. Both groups can function on a 5-man level and should ideally translate to a 10 man raid as well. The Pally is the designated tank for the caster group, and the Death Knight is the designated tank for the melee group.
