The retribution paladin in Wrath of the Lich King Beta has damage per second (dps) incredibly high! Not only has the retribution paladin got some sort of save death capability where they reach 1 health point and they become full health and maan, but they can kill 3 elemental shamans before the paladin dies when 6 shamans are blasting them with everything they got! During a battle in Wintergrasp, I noticed that paladins were not only able to kill a large number of players, but they had this certain ability where after a lot of players are hammering them, they instantly become full health right when they reach about 1 health point and are about to die. Then later on I saw Undercity being attacked and judging by the rate of number of attack messages, that is guards being killed, it appeared there were about 4 or 5 players raiding it. When I got there, there was ONE paladin at full health killing level 75 guards. By the way in Wrath of the Lich King, the guards in major cities are going to be level 75 up from 65 currently. Anyway, I proceed to throw everything I got at him and he kills 3 of my level 80 shaman before he finally dies. During trade chat, it's common for a number of player discussions about the dps ability of the paladin and how it's got to be nerfed before release but the way it is now, it's really high. Has anyone else noticed this?
I'm glad I've got a paladin but if the dps doesn't change in Wrath of the Lich King on them, I'm turning him into retribution to destroy whatever I can![]()
