Thanks for posting this. The reason all these new features suddenly materialized is because HotkeyNet is getting close to one thousand steady users. At the rate it's growing, we'll hit that mark in a few days. I wanted to finish all the main features by then, so I worked on the program full time this past week.
There are only two main features left to add -- If-statements like "If WoW number 1 is active, do something," and sending alt/ctrl/shift to background windows. Hard to believe the program is finally almost done.
Thanks to everyone here who helped. And some of you helped a lot. It would be fun to link to those early threads where people suggested features that ended up in the program -- lock modifiers for example -- but I'm too lazy to look for them.

Bah, you guys will get free copies for life anyway because you did so much during the beta. I don't know the answer. I don't want to start charging unless the total revenues will be above a certain level because supporting a paid product is a huge amount of work -- obligations to customers, keeping track of licenses, etc. If there are one thousand unpaid users now, how many will pay when the program stops being free? Half? Who knows, let's say half. What's a good price for the program? $20? That would be $10,000 a year in gross revenue. Is that enough to pay me for the time I'll have to spend expanding the authorization system to keep track of licenses, dealing with customer problems, etc.? Nope.
So how high does the number of unpaid users have to get? I don't know.![]()
