Default [Solved] Veteran Account + RAF Friend + 70 boosting in instances = triple XP?

So I've been reading a lot on the forum and Wiki, which both say that getting boosted through instances with a level 70 is the quickest way to 60. My setup is my own veteran account which I then invited myself. So what I'd like to do is simply buy instance runs for my pair from some stranger I find in trade. But I was sure that Blizzard nerfed it to if you had a 70 in your group, that your pair will no longer benefit from triple xp.

Could someone please shed some light in this?

So your main account with your 70 is linked to your new RAF account? Won't work the way you want it to.

Having a 70 linked to a lowbie kills the bonus.

A 70 boosting you will drop your xp per kill, which is then tripled for any lowbies in the group that are linked to each other and not to the 70.

For your purposes if you've already established the link? make a lowbie on your veteran account, group it with the new lowbie, get a friend or guildie to boost you with an unlinked 70.

Filling the remainder of the group with other lowbies will improve the xp per kill slightly.

I have a 70 main on my unlinked account. I had a friend invite me, which started my A account linked to him, then created a chain of 3 more accounts linked A>B>C>D, so I can boost the 4 of them with my main.

Maybe I screwed up my explanation.

    Here is my current setup:
    - Account1 (my first account with a lowbie) linked with Account2 (my second account with a lowbie)

The level 70 is not connected to me in any way. I just have to find him/her in trade.

Then you'll be fine. yes having the 70 in group will knock down the xp per kill, but it will then be triple by the RAF bonus. People have been powerleveling lowbies with 70s in stockades and SM for years, the xp is still good even without RAF, since the mobs are elite and higher level than the lowbies and you get a group bonus. You'll also get more xp per kill with 1 70 and 4 lowbies compared to 1 70 and 2 lowbies I believe.

And quest turnins are also extremely lucrative for speed leveling even without a 70, for example: Howto: 1-60 RAF

People have also been very successful mixing quests and boosting by grabbing all the quests associated with that instance before getting boosted through.

    Perfect.

    Thank you very much!

As a side note, "someday" they plan on fixing this so if any member of the party doesn't get XP from the kill, the triple-bonus will not apply. It was clarified on a blue forum post on Sep 8th (maybe Aug 8th), and linked in a thread on these forums, but so far having an unlinked 70 in you party doesn't affect the triple-xp bonus.

hmmm I thought if u had any level 70s in a group, Account B + C would lose the 3xEXP?

That's what I thought from reading this thread:
