    Default Just bought gt 9800 and laggy..

    Hi guys, i just bought the gt9800 vid card....udpated drivers, uninstalled old drivers...updated power supply...but running so laggy and videos are flickering...any suggestions, thoughts? on what i can do to fix...i tried nvidia support site....but to no avail for a solution...

    Got the power hooked up to it right? Most of the higher end cards will have an extra power lead.

    well the new power supply that i bought with it has a dedicted power cord for the pci-e card...have to double check that...thnks

    When i bought mine i updated to a 1k PW and updated the drivers but forgot to hook up the other power strip cord. ( laying in the tower for whatever reason) once i did that everything runs perfect.
