First of all, everyone doing RAF has a main and that main can do one or two days worth of dailies to get the gold for a mount for their RAF toons. It's just plain bad advice to say to not bother getting a mount at level 30. Traveling is the number one time sink in the game and any way to reduce that time sink means faster leveling.
Why would you assume that RAF = has a main at 70? Please do esplayn that logic to me as I think I missed the patch note confirming it.
