    Default 5boxing - PVE - Multiclass UI

    http://callmetom.net/img/ScreenShot_082508_190320.jpeg

Goals for this UI were. Center my view closer to my character and my action bars in order to increase awareness and improve reaction time. Wanted it to be viable for multiple classes, allowing for pets, stance bars, pet action bars. Wanted to be able to view Target-target, Party-targets, PartyPet-targets, along with debuffs effecting party members.

It might look cluttered to you, but this is about as clean a UI as I ever make. Also you will see that I'm using Multiboxer V2 in this screen but I've since switched to Jamba which frees up a good chunk of screen real-estate.

    Addons
    ------------------------
Aperture - Used to resize rendered game space allowing for the block of space at the bottom. I've considered trying the use of a custom graphic down there but it just seems like it'd take up memory with no real benefit.
ArcHUD2 - HUD - Probably being removed. I tried this to try to center my view more but I am too set in my old ways and it's just wasting memory. Good HUD though.
    Bartender3 - Action bars.
Cartographer - Standard world map addon. Using various cartographer addons for professions and such.
Chronometer - Cooldown monitor, currently not getting a lot of use.
DrDamage - Modifies tooltips of abilities to give lots of extra valuable information. Really just good for those that like to theorycraft a lot.
Fubar + Various Fubar mods - Just your run of the mill personalized fubar.
Jamba - (http://wow.jafula.com/addons/jamba) - For all my multiboxer needs. Used to use Multiboxer2 but I've since moved on to bigger and better things.
    Omen - For Threat
Onebag - for a allinone bag
Ora2 - Mainly for later on when that kinda mod matters.
Pitbull - For unit frames. I keep this running on alts also because it has visual display of incoming heals and visual agro alerts allowing me to easily see needed info about my group.
    Prat - Chat mod
Quarts - Player and target castbars, swingtimer, cooldown monitor, etc.
Recap and Recount for Damage statistics.
Smartbuff - Auto buffing, very nice for multiboxing.
    Squeenix - For square minimap.
Visor2 - To allow me to move around UI elements that are not easily movable and hide ones I don't care to see.
Wardrobe2 - Easy auto wardrobe switching.

    Hey

Normally i hate thoese sort of UIs but this one looks nice. But if i scale it down through video settings will that work? i like to have my bars etc. abit smaller

You talking about dropping the scale on everything, or lowering your resolution. I think that the lower your rez you go on this, the worse it's going to get, but that can be said for any UI.

I think the scales could be played with to drop the size on a few frames, and maximize the visibility of the information you want to look at.

    Thats rather cluttered :O

Plus I'm biased towards Xperl unitframes for it's simplicity and usability.
You could save a lot of screen real estate by knocking out the damage done/threat meter section As long as the mobs dying do you really need to see how much dps you're doing?

also .. wheres party member 5?

His main is at the top of all the unitframes, next to his target.
Damage and threat meter is very useful.
I'm going to live forever, or die trying.

Readily available damage and threat meters allow me to judge performance of my toons. For example, I know that my DPS macros on my priest and lock need a little bit of love because their overal damage lags way behind my hunter. Threat for me at least is less important but still important. It allows me to see if things are about to go wrong and I need to stop mashing my dps big-button, but most of the time between watching mana bars, judgement cooldown, whether my heals are going to land, and trying my damn-hardest not to mash my big-button too much that the Mac Clonedkeys doesnt backup too far that my heals won't land. (it's a bit buggy)

As for clutter, like I said above. Pet targets might be the least important, but they do tell me if my pet is running off randomly to pull a mob. Party Targets let me both know if my DPS is targeting the right mob, and if their target is about to die. Along with the fact that if they pull agro it allows me to easily target the right mob to taunt.

Also, remember that one goal of this was to be usable by any class meaning I needed room for stance bars, aura bars, pet action bars, more than 1 action bar, along with all that extra information that I really don't need. Basically I'm saying that yes it's cluttered but I think the clutter is useful, at least to me.

Oh, and look at your interface and tell me where party 5 is :P

    That's a pretty cool ui.

I"m still wondering what all the little skulls do :P

I took this screenshot in "setup mode" of Pitbull which allows you to see all elements of your actionbars so you can see how they would look in game situations. The skulls are Debuf slots for my target. All the little skulls are the 40ish spots in which debuffs will show up on whoever I'm targeting. On my player unitframe (left) you can see the larget debuff slots for my player, and on my party frames (across bottom) they also have larger icons for debuffs. I've got an updated screen I need to upload that I think is a better version of this layout.

screen shot looks too 'busy' and too much real estate is being taken up. Full 1/2 the screen is set aside for all that stuff. Can't you tone it down some or shrink it? Do the chat windows have to be that large?
