I have only had 1 hate tell from "alliance"... I get spits from horde but whatever.
Most are either confused or interested.
There is a few people that sent me grats tells when team1 hit 60. (they disturb me a bit tho... stalkers).

Looking for a new game (probably EQ2)
I wonder if there's a difference between PvP and PvE servers? On Bronzebeard, I rarely get hate tells, but I will sometimes see people talking in /say that I "overhear."
The most ironic statement that I have seen made is, of course, the always popular "...must have no life." Typically made by a level 70 character in full S4 gear. About my level 48 group that has a total of 40 hours played.
I usually /lol to that.

I've found on Arygos that for evey 1 hate tell I get 3 or 4 decent conversations about boxing. I had one today, it started off by the person asking me how many I boxed and I was fighting a whole mess of stuff so I missed it at first, his next tell said it's cool i won't report you my bud boxes 3. After that tho we had a decent conersation about it.
I also do the bur for alliance toons as well, anyone know if it comes out lol on the other side for them? I have wondered this when they go by. lol..er...bur.
I get alot of whispers, mostly good ones but also some negative from time to time. Have tried alot of different things to the hate whispers, and it seems the "nice day to you too" reply works the best, most times they feel bad and appologize. But some people are just plain stupid - i ignore those.
I remember about a week ago outside Orgrimmar (Brew festival place), got a few hate whispers again. Then a party of alliance showed up and started nuking people. I was at a distance so they didnt see me, ran behing a tent and started nuking them down one by one, until the entire party was down (BT/T6 gear) - my 5 shamans was lvl67 by then. People target to cheer and laugh at me (possitive way), guess it was because i had the balls to face them, even when i was undergeared and 3 levels below them. They resssed and i killed them again.
I left the arena about 5min later and got the crying/sad emotes from the other players.
Nice to get some possitive feedback from time to time![]()

made me lol, my daughter is 16 and I tried to get her to play. If only keeping them a virgin were that simple. I'd have her play wow into her twenties. She thinks my boys and I are nerds and she makes fun of me and calls me "the warlock," and my computer room a "Command Center." I'm really not that geeky as far as you know.Originally Posted by 'Drizzit',index.php?page=Thread&postID=125816#post 125816
As far as the insults go, tell them that "your mom wants you to learn to hit the hamper, she's tired of picking up your laundry." They will be puzzled, and think you are somebody they know.

hahaha. Not sure about the alliance side (Tasty! Grrr) but as Horde on Frostmourne I get a fair few "lol" and "wow"s. It gets very annoying tho, run through a city to get mail/skills/AH stuff and run out to the zep to find about 5 people trailing saying "oh oh drop totems!" or something.
Last night I played my Mages for a bit, and with the new level water it only makes 2 at a time (zzzz!) so I was standing there making 2 stacks of water from 4 mages to give to the priest, then I had to make 2 stacks each for the mages, as I hate running out of water.
In the 2 minutes it took I had about 5 or 6 people running around me at the sepulcher. That place is normally deserted, but noooo suddenly everyone wanted to stand around watching my mages evocate![]()

I'm on an RP-PvP server and I'm fairly certain I'm the only boxer on my faction. I think there's a 5-shammy group Horde-side.
I generally get a lot of "wtf?" stuff. I've tried to make my presence reasonably well known on the server forums and have developped an interesting RP backstory for my chars. All in all, I think I'm iewed fairly positively.
I've never had a single @hate thread directed at me... which kinda sucks, because I've destroyed so many people. Especially leveling in Outland and killing people 5+ levels higher than me.
I just dinged 70 the other day though, and figure I'll get more attention when I start doing my dailies on the isle. The isle is, more than anything else, the center of attention for our server. Everyone revolves around PvP there, it seems.
