Horde Hinterlands - A Multiboxers Questing Nervana

Hey all,

So my guys are 48 right now (5 Shamans), and I was looking for the next zone to hit having cleared Maraudon out of quests. I decided on Hinterlands and I couldn't be happier with my choice. Every single opening quest - and there were about a dozen of these were kill quests or fedex quests - every last one of them. In the space of an hour and a half I gained nearly two levels, going from 47.1 to 48.8.

I think I'm in a good place for levelling now as finishing out the 2nd round of quests in Hinterlands (except for one, they are again all kill quests) will easily put me on 49 and close to 50, and I still haven't yet been to Searing Gorge, Burning Steppes, Ungoro Crater, Dustwallow Marsh or Western Plaguelands. Hopefully after clearing those out, I'll run through BRD and LBRS, hit 58 and zoom off to Outlands.

So, my question to the community, what other zones have you found to be really multibox-friendly? For me, Hinterlands beat every other zone for ease by a mile, but perhaps others (particularly on Alliance Side) have found other equally happy-hunting zones?

I'm boosting my team atm in SM, so I don't have anything to add just yet.

That said, this topic should be something to develop and ultimately sticky/wiki. I'll remember Hinterlands for my late 40's!

Add Searing Gorge to the list then once you're done with Hinterlands. Another dozen (or close to it) kill quests, which my Shammies will plow through in no time. I'll make 50 (that's pronounced fiddy) for sure off of these ones, and then it's off to BRD.

Where I am too with my little alliance team. Hinterlands was so easy for me too. Only had the Favored of Elune quest as a serious gather quest. But the area with the feathers was the same with tons of Sungrass which my herbalist needed for skilling. So not really an issue.

Off to test Searing Gorge tonight. Then hopefully land in BRD Thursday which is a national holiday.

Race to 60? Hehe - Monday is a public holiday here in Australia - 3 day weekend. Just have to find some excuse to pack the missus off to the in-laws, out-laws or by-laws (by order of preference I guess) and I'm set.

There should be a wiki out there for powerleveling with a 70 in instances.
Powerleveling just instances with same lvl group.
Leveling by quests only.
Leveling by quest/instances.

I can't really give any help here i just started. Got my guys to 36 last night and here is what i have done:
1-8 quest
8-15 RFC
15-19 SFK
19-24 RFK
24-29 SM lib
29-40 SM Cath (Can probably do ZF at 37, planning to stay till 40 but staying in sm cloth. Maybe when i get the first done and tailoring done i might do ZF earlier then 40. Would like to stay till 40 because it will be a long walk.)

I'm recording the level of each instance I've done - I wish I'd kept a more detailed log of it, because it would have been useful I guess. More importantly still would be zones - some (for Horde anyway) are terrible like Tarren Mills collection quests, while others are a breeze.

I think im done doing instances til outlands... when doing like SM, i get maybe 1/4 lvl.. maybe a little less per run.. in the same time i can do 3/4 of a level to a full level of questing i might try like strat though, just for fun the trash in ZF kicked the crap outa me at 45 though.. i am the suck



P.S. on the upside... 3 lvl 43-45 ally were standing in front of me in booty bay yesterday... all nice and bunched up.. POW... 3 dead ally
