    Hi!

I just want to make a little Tutorial. It's not easy for me to write it in english, so i've made some Screens of every step to do.

You need Photoshop, WoW Model Viewer and a kind of Bitmap ^^ (for copy/patse )

    1st)
Make with WoW Model Viewer 2 screens of the char and equipment you want to have on your final screen. As sample i got the char of my desktop screen.
First one is the char you wanna see and the second one will be the shadow of it. Just with white background color.

    2nd)
Paste the two images into photoshop. Everyone on a single layer. Then use the 'Magic Wand Tool' ( Hotkey >W< ) and remove all the white pieces. At the shadow layer it is not very important to remove every pixel of white, cause on the next step it will be a completely black overlay color.

    3rd)
Open the layer style window of the shadow-layer and set the '[x] Color Overlay' to black and opacity 100%.

    4th)
The last and biggest step. Press ALT+T - Then you can scale, deform and everything else you want to make with the size of the shadow-layer. Here are some screens of every single step to do:

If you happy with the result push the return button and it's finished.

    Why two single char frames?
First is the char you see. It stand not directly infront of you and look to the side. But the lightning comes infront of the char. So the shadow must be a "front" frame.

And sorry again, i don't speak english very well :S And it was the first img i've done with photoshop :S

Mate, your English is better than 99% of those who actually originate from English speaking countries...

    And that's a nice wallpaper.

I agree with this guy 100%. Shooping has opened up the world of photoshop for me. Looks like I will have something else to try now.
