    Default Possible? Yes or No

Sorry for making another thread right away, but I'm rather stumped...

    • /tar zetto
    • /focus target
    • /follow
    • /assist
    • /stopcasting

Currently if Zetto, my main, dies, Im screwed... Im looking to modify this macro so I can switch to start focusing/following/assisting the next character in my 5 character setup... I've tried, with tons of variations:

    • /tar [nodead,exists,target=zetto];[nodead,exists,target=toon2];[nodead,exists,target=toon3]
    • /focus target
    • /follow
    • /assist
    • /stopcasting

    It just doesn't work.

I basically just want to be able to use this BIG BUTTON macro, but be able to PiP switch, and then set focus/follow/etc to the new toon thats my new main.

    Thanks!

    Possible, yes.
    Recommended, no.

I used to use the "follow the next in the list" macro until I found the FTL setup (Focusless, targetless, leaderless).
I would highly recommend looking into it : Focusless, targetless, 'leaderless' setup.
When he starts going on about hotstrings, the part that confused me was the actual hotstring input section. You put in a phrase there, not the key you want it to be pressing on the other wows.

This works perfectly fine and many of us use this very method for setting focus. Your target line is the problem. Here's the one I use on my locks:

    [c][target=dondiego,nodead];[target=donluciano,nodead];[target=donbartolo,nodead];[target=doncastillo,nodead];[target=donrafael,nodead];[target=donalejandro,nodead];[target=dondiego];[target=donluciano][/c]
It checks them in order and targets the FIRST name in the sequence that meets the parameters. So, by default, it targets one of my two mains (diego/luciano) and if they're dead, starts walking down the line to find the first live body, then if nobody's alive, it focuses my mains again so I can graveyard run the whole troop back to the corpses.
    Now playing: WoW (Garona)

    Thanks, Ill try that!

Also, the focusless/leaderless setup seems nice... but I'm not going to hop into that yet until I hit 70

What I have done is set macros on the same key as my pip swap key, that changes everyones focus to the character i'm swapping my picture to, and clears that characters focus so their macros will work as being the main character.
I'm going to live forever, or die trying.

ugh I would hate having KC swap main window using PiP every time I switched which char was being followed.
I often kill a lot of mobs, leave all the looting till last then just make everyone follow on the one which needs to do the looting.

The last one. Is that a micro that you add to your bar? I am looking for something like this incase all my guys die.. also, could this be a replacement of the "/Follow" command.
