Your ISP will only lease you 1 IP address. You will need to reset your cable/dsl modem when you switch between your PC and your switch. If you simply move the cable from your switch to your PC, your PC will try to negotiate a DHCP IP address and since your modem has already done this with your switch, it will not give you one assuming this is a 2nd computer. This is why you have to use NAT. It "tricks" your modem into thinking you only have 1 PC.Mac Address restriction by ISP
DMZ didn't work? Did you turn off all of the port forwarding?
When you have both clients up and connected (or trying to connect), go to the cmd prompt (Start -> Run -> cmd ) and type in netstat -an and post your results.

You should see an IP address that matches your realms IP address.
