What happens if you tell 2 (or more) paladins to DI each other at the exact same time? Do they both die? Or maybe both live? That would be funny if you're getting ganked and you can just sit there invulnerable forever.

The reason I'm asking this question is because I know that a multiboxer can get all 5 robots from a single robot for 'converting sentries' daily on isle of quel'danas just by targeting the dead robot and typing /use Attuned Crystal Cores.

I think the comparison has to do with how normally each toon has to convert 5 robots, so a 2-boxer would have to kill + convert 10 robots, but if you happen to use the crystal at the same time both would get credit. So in a similar fashion, if 2 paladins were to both cast DI at the same time, would they both die or both get the other's bubble? It's not the same thing, but it's similar enough to make you wonder.

Me, I think you would get enough server lag or delay that one would work but the other would get a "Can't do that right now" error and you would still end up with 1 bubble and 1 dead pally. But would still be fun to try and see if it worked.

You're probably right, but I've witnessed tons of times (in regular raids or 5 mans) where the paladin pressed divine intervention (and sacrificed himself) but his target died anyway, due to lag I guess. So it seems likely that both paladins would die at the same time.

You die FIRST then the other gets the DI.. Aka they both die and no one gets DI.

Actually the robots only require your group to kill and convert 5 total. Not 5 for each member of the group. I have grouped with guildmates and had one killing the wretch guys for mana remnants while I killed and converted the robots. He got credit for my conversions.

Also only one has to collect 4 remnants. If your group is together when you "charge" the crystal. Then all get credit because that is the objective.

A little OT, but I hate the quests where the quest giver becomes temporarily unavailable as he/she acts out some scripted event. So I always try to mouseclick at the same time on my group, but usually have to do it at least twice from server lag.

Same here. I'm thinking about all the gold I've missed out on, and trying very hard not to have a violent abdominal reaction...
