noob needs help

hi im only new to this. and im haveing trouble setting up a multiplexer, are there any recomended 1's other than key clone

i keep getting this error coming up from winzip wat do i need to do?

Right click the file and launch it as administrator. if you are not the computer administrator get whoever is to launch it for you.

G'morning Minirogue and welcome to the forums!

try this:

1. download latest keyclone installation to your desktop
2. right-click the keyclone installation binary and select 'run-as administrator'
3. install normally then close installation
4. find keyclone folder (use my computer or whatever you have)
5. find keyclone the application (has the ice cube loge)
6. right-click / send to / desktop(create shortcut)
7. find shortcut on desktop
8. right-click / properties / advanced / CHECK always-run-as administrator
9. hit ok
10. run keyclone normally

that should work for you. if not, please let em know.

i tryed downloading octopus and i recived this error when luanching

System.DllNotFoundException: Unable to load DLL 'Core.dll': The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log for more detail. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800736B1)

I use AutoHotkey, try that one. The link to download it is somewhere in the help guides. I think you need a bit of programming experience though to understand the scripts

When it refers to the event log that's in administrative tools. Apparently you can locate the exact DLL at fault in the log. If you missed the VCR 2008 requirement, that would be it. On the other hand keyclone is good too and I know why after all these DLL problems that he bundles MFC with it!!!!!!
