PMIX-100 (Non-Audiophile Audio Mixer for PCs)

I just love the PMIX-100 its quite the little device, it allows you to take multiple standard audio inputs from your PCs and mix them without damage to components or any cabling adaptions or chores. Thus if you have multiple machines playing WoW and another machine playing iTunes or what not you can easily mix appropriately.

Once summer ends for real I want to hack it to be USB controlled for the master volume.

I am not sure I exactly follow the benefit here? This would let me mux together 5 WoWs plus music? Sounds like quite a cacophony (read: noise) but what is the purpose? Surely you would not want to mix together 5 WoW outputs? That would sound terrible.
