While alot of us are known to go overboard, you do not need any sort of fancy hardware these days. Pretty much all "fancy hardware" has been emulated in some way, shape, or form by software.Originally Posted by 'BladiiN',index.php?page=Thread&postID=124282#post 124282
Some of us still invest in hefty hardware stuff, but it's by no means required. If you can run two WoW's side-by-side on your computer (i.e. open 2 windows at the same time), then your computer is typically good enough to multibox. All you need, then, is something to send your normal keyboard keypresses to both windows -- and that, my friend, is called a "keyboard multiplexer".
So as long as you're not trying to do something fancy, like use some strange combination of computers (i.e. Windows and Macs) along with some strange combinations of windows on each (i.e. 2 windows on one pc, 3 windows on another) -- you don't really have to worry about it.The simplest solution is either:
1) one wow window per pc, and you need a multiplexer to send keys between two physical computers (i.e. over your home network)
or
2) multiple wow windows on one pc, and you need a multiplexer to send keys to the multiple wow windows (i.e. standard software window multiplexer)
