    Default felguard and multiboxing

currently i am running Quad 1P3L

wondering if I should respec my 3 Locks to get felguards ? OR just 1 or 2 ? Need suggestion.

been looking for lock build, some said destro! is better ?
    First set : 4 Shammies LV 60
    Second set : 1 Priest 3 Locks LV 60
Third set: 4 Druids LV 60
Forth set: Upcoming 1 Paladin 3 Mages <--- Darn paly is already 60 , but mage still at 30 LOL

I assume your pally is tanking while the 3 locks handle all the dps.

If so then no I wouldnt recommend respeccing to get the felguard. If you didnt have a valid tank type, then maybe, but since you have the pally def no.

You want the locks to be specced for max dps. So yes go for destro build.

felguards provide awesome aoe dmg with cleave, and can pull and kite targets to your paladin with ease. I dont see what build could do as good. save your mana, get the felguards and pwn everything u see

It was P = Priest ;-) not paladin

oh lets say if i am going to have 3 felguards, should my priest then go holy/dis?

Lol, sorry. Yeah that makes it a bit different. :P

I wouldnt get more than 2 felguards and have the 3rd lock as destro.

If it were my team I would prob go shadow for the priest. The synergy of a shadow priest and locks is awesome.

so you all in for destruction over affliction then ?

won't it gets so confusing with different builds in a group ? in term of casting spell, macros ><

I have 3 locks in my team (and a spriest and a prot pally) and I enjoy having each one spec'ed in each tree. I like the felguard and sadly for my pally he tends to steal aggro (even though I turned off the agro spell). I don't see my destro one doing better dps than the others; though my affli one is lower but it's because his first cast is curse of elements for the benefits of the others.

The thing about felguards is they put out pretty good DPS by themselves, they are like a poweful dot that you only need to cast once per target, without the need to constantly refresh it every 20 to 30 seconds. That means if things get a little hectic, and you are having trouble remembering to cast, or if one or more of your warlocks are getting cc'd or something, your felguards are still doing a ton of dmg. This makes them an excellent choice for a multiboxer.

I would possibly consider swapping one out for an imp for the stamina bonus, but you would probably take a noticable dip in DPS.

Also, you can round robin the charge on your felguards, so as you are kiling mobs individually, each one is stunned where it's standing, then dies a few seconds later. Felguards are so awesome.

Plus they have cleave. 3 or more felguards all cleaving can make pretty short work of a small group of mobs, even without the help of the warlocks themselves.

If it were me, I would COA or Corruption (COA is much cheaper mana wise, but takes a bit longer to ramp up in DMG) while sending my felguard in to attack simutanously, then just ran past that mob and repeat on the next mob. You should hardly even have to stop moving, they will just die behind you, the dots finishing them off after the felguards softened them up a bit. With Mana tap you could probably use corruption instead of CAO and get a bit more DPS right off the bat. Maybe immolation would be good too. Make sure you train the ability that makes your felguard get mana everytime you lifetap, otherwise all that cleaving and charging will leave them manaless in no time.

The confusion might come from the fact, that destruction is DEFINATELY the best RAIDDPS spec the warlock can have, currently. So, when you reach around 1300+ shadowdamage, you should spec destro for some of those fun 8-10k shadowbolt crits in raids....

But for lvl'ing ? Felguards, hands down. And yes, keep them mana-fed through lifetap, and drainlife yourself when you need and it's just gonna be a freighttrain through a china-shop.
