If you zoom all the way out on your minimap then zoom in once, if you see your alts in your minimap they will get xp.

Also, you can set look to rare or whatever you like and pass on loot on your pally so he will only see rare drops (or green if you set it to that). Check out the [url='http://www.gamevee.com/user/Stabface

Awesome ok now this is so what I was looking for, hell yeah this community rocks. will definitely check out the videos..wouldn't mine making some of my own once i get this pulling down perfectly. Do we have a established list of instances to boost threw ? I know SM comes after SFK at 20 for my lowbies.

ZF 40-45 then you can go to BRD/Strat/Scholo until 58-60 or you can stay in ZF to 50 if ya like before moving on. You could do Sunken Temple but the only rooms thats great for mass pulling seems to be the dragon area. I'd atleast hit all instances at least once for quests as they give a ton of xp.

again thank you for your excellent advice..yeah if i got quests sure i'll grind the instance for that.. what level do you leave SM at ?

40. You could leave at 35 and go to ZF but SM seems to be the quickest to 40.

Default RE: How do you boost with a Lvl 70 Paladin ?
Ok I've multiboxed on and off, and been away for a pretty good spell from wow, now I want to get back into it, but I have a few questions.

I have a level 70 horde paladin that I'd like to use as my booster toon

I also have 2 lvl 16 druids on seperate accounts that i'd like to have boosted.

a quick search of this board didnt really give me the info im looking for, so I hope some bored soul can fill me in on the pointers of how to do this.

if I wanted to boost in SFK for example...how would I go about it...do I just grab half the zone at a time well dragging my 2 druids around behind me..I had read something about it requiring a mage and droping him from group or something...but thats where my confusion kicks in.
Knock yourself out.

Your pulls will vary since it depends on your level of gear and how much you want to actually have to THINK about what you're doing. The SM pulls in that video are rather conservative -- I like watching TV while I grind, and my pally was (at the time) in various blues.

Make sure to click the link to the video to read up the whole pull strat and my gear level at the time of the video.

You almost have to feel sorry for the guards in these instances. They are just minding their own business, when essentially a raid boss and his/her low level groupies come running through to slaughter them. It reminds me of that scene in Monty Pythons Holy Grail when lancealot storms the castle. Shameful. But sadly necessary.

I used my prot pally to boost and did:

SFK 15-20
SM Cath 20-40
ZF 40-45
Strath 45-60

ZF wasn't that great, but i'm not sure what would be better 40-45. Anyway strath from 45-60 was awesome, I was getting a level every 20 minutes though thats with RAF. I was also looting everything and came out making decent gold at the same time, on my server greater eternals are 15g, LBS 10g, runecloth stacks 10g...and you almost get a complete stack from 2-3 packs of mobs

Only real key thing is to just make sure you always park your guys somewhere safe, then round up a bunch of stuff and bring it back. Thats why I avoided brd, lbrs, ubrs, etc...too much movement required. Though in your case without RAF you might be well served to run all the instances atleast once for the quests, they are great exp and you won't go crazy from boredom

I really haven't been very satisfied with my pally boosting. Pally is Prot spec, Kara ready, uncrushable, 11k HP... er lots of armor, forget how much, but still seems rather fragile. I will readily admit, and actually testify, that I suck with my pally but either way, meh. I'd much rather just follow around the toons I'm raising and heal them. Maybe it's an attention span thing, Iono.

Default My journal for boosting with my holy/ret pally hybrid

Ok thanks to all the advice SFK was a blast from 16-25
25-40 was spent inside SM cath..which was not such a blast..but grinded my way threw it
40-43 at present inside ZF...ugh..so not fun at all.... ok leaving at 45 for Strat sounds like a bonus..zf right now is so buggy u get glitched and cant regen mana or mount again due to some wierd bug..so hopefully strat is way more fun. I may have to change my spec though...and I do not have decent tanking gear..just running in full S2 stuff.
