Did you never go AFK in an instance? What do they tell you do to do? /follow someone if you go AFK. It is so you don't get lost and don't attract patrols and we have to come back to res you. Guess what is the best way for a char to travel with another char? It isn't pass the keys as you have seen since the chars will never face the same direction no matter how hard you try.

There are addons that auto-follow. I use multiboxer ( http://www.dual-boxing.com/wiki/inde...n:MultiboxerV2).
