Default 5 Shaman Round Robin Macro's

Hi all, I've recently got 70 and I'm trying to setup heroism for a round robin cast.
I've spent the better part of 2 hours reading wiki, other people's donations, etc. but I'm still unable to get it to work

All the round robin macro's I've seen have been setup for 3 people so I'm not sure If I understood it or not but here's how I have it setup.

    main - /castsequence reset=40 Heroism,,,,
    slave1 - /castsequence reset=40 ,Heroism,,,
    slave2 - /castsequence reset=40 ,,Heroism,,
    slave3 - /castsequence reset=40 ,,,Heroism,
    slave4 - /castsequence reset=40 ,,,,Heroism

When I try this setup, either one of to things happens. The main goes and the slaves don't (get 40 second cooldown on macro and then press again after 40 and they all use it), or they just all 5 use it.

Any help for a noob is greatly appreciated.

Wait, you took something that works 3 people and can't get it to work for 5?
Well, just delete the last 2 macros and it should work for 3 of your chars. Start there. If it doesn't, then you copied something wrong, or hotbars aren't working, etc.

    {Edit: I just looked up the heroism spell, you want a 601 reset, it has a 10 min cooldown. You can't really make it wait 40 secs to cast the spell, or people would just rotate CCs and they would be perfect. You can only reset after the cooldown, sorry. You just have to push the button when the buff fades--use SCT scrolling combat text built into WOW to see when buff fades and push button again.}

I over due it on keypresses sometimes, so I try to make sure I can't reset a cooldown sequence unless I die on top of a key that repeats. So I would add about 10 commas to the end of each macro, so you can't accidentally reset the macro on loop around.

I also put in a #showtooltip and use the '?' in my macros, so I can see exactly what is going to happen. Start off not pressing anything. On your main char, you should see the heroism icon. You should see a question mark for the others (since it doesn't what spell to put there---it goes off the first one it sees, which is a comma). Push the key once. What do you see on the 2nd char? It should be the heroism icon. Just go step by step, one char at a time. Make a dummy command if you want to see what the alts are trying to do. Put in a totem or something. If you can get a rotating totem to work, you should be able to get a rotating anything to work. Just remember, heroism I think is changing for WotLK, 5 min cooldown on the effect. Sure you can cast it more, but it doesn't effect anyone. You might want to look that up, incase I messed up on the time for WotLK changes.

    Good luck.

Electron, I'm not the best when it comes to these macro's and scripting. Is it possible for you to post the macro's you use so that I can try ythem out for myself and go from there.

    Thanks

You use what you had, but change "reset=40" to "reset=601". You can't make a spell only cast at a certain time, you can make a spell not cast until its cooldown is up. You just have to press the key every 40 secs. You should see the buff time out either in your buffs section of your UI or with scrolling text in the middle of your screen. Again, just put the reset time as the cooldown time (I add 1 sec to make sure).

    Hope that helps.
