Here's something I found out a while ago:
Suppose you are in a party that has non-shaman characters. This means that you shamans can 'hearthstone' every 15 minutes, but this character can't. It also means you can only go to the places that Shattrath allows you to go to after hearthstoning to Shattrath. A solution is to have a mage that creates portals for you. Now on its own that's nothing new, but what is interesting is that you can basically make portals for characters that are on the same account of the mage, as long as the mage's group that owns the portal keeps existing.

It's done like this:
- mage from Account1 joins party and creates a portal for this party
- mage leaves the party
- a different character from Account1 logs in and joins the party
- this character can now use the portal too

I don't know if this is something new, but I thought I should share it.

It's actually the number of characters in the party that take the portal that count. The person doesn't have to be from the same account, unless this was changed recently. All the mage has to do is create the portal then leave the party and anyone can join the party and take the portal. It's the same for a raid, if the mage creates a portal and additional members join the raid, they can take the same portal. For a group portal, I believe it's only 5 that can take it, but for a raid, it might be a different number.
