Best 5box pve set? heeelllppp

Just wondering what my new pve set should be, i currently have a pro 1 priest and 4 locks, going very strong.

got any suggestions for a pve set?
like
Main pala, rest shammies, or
main pala, x2 mages for cc, lock for fear and imp and ss. and priest for pro grp heals?

help plz, any better suggestions?

Pick whatever works for you. Protection paladins are popular among MBers for obvious reasons.
Aside, both setups you're suggesting will work for PvE, but I would advise you not to pick too many different classes as a beginner.
If you're sure you can handle it: pick whatever gives you the desired flexibility, utility and synergy.

I'm running ProtPala, moonkin, elemental shammy, shadowpriest and healing priest. This group has synergy written all over it, put it together for WotLK. I was concidering a mage instead of the moonkin, but druid gives more synergy, mage brings "neat" stuff instead.

I'm currently working on levelling a group for Wrath: Prot Pally, Disc/Holy Priest to heal, Ele Shammy, Lock and a mysterious 3rd DPS slot I've yet to decide on. I've been flip flopping between Boomkin, Mage, or another Lock for that last slot. Can anyone make a coherent argument to push me in one direction?

well im a beginner like you, im running one ele shammy, two mages, one lock, one boomkin, tbh as first experience it was not easy for few hours but now im really on track and i love it despite seeing as a bit strange set up for some people (a prot pally is waiting to get granted levels at the end of my leveling) should ease for some pve content, so my advice is go for what you like, dont be discouraged at beginning if you try a harder set up, just get your fun

I have a prot pally, a resto shaman and 3 ele shamans. Currently on lvl 63. I like it a lot. Instancing is fun with a dedicated tank and healer- The tactics you use can be looked up easily as its a traditional set up.

It's definitely solid... for now at least. Once Wrath hits, it looks like a lot of the fun things that multiple shaman do (ToW stacking, anyone?) are going to quit working. Totem stacking is pretty much going away and the devs really seem to be pushing for wanting multiple classes around for a wide array of buffs/debuffs.
