    Default Maximizer doesn't work

    Hi all,

I'm trying to make keyclone maximizer work but ... it doesn't

I use the tutorials and the threads I read here. To setup maximizer I used the layout on the official website (1900x1200x1_5regions).

Here the screenshots of my setup :

If you see something I missed ...

When I launch Keyclone (or I use the Connect button on the main window), it runs the 5 wow but doesn't resize/move them. Moreover, I see on the main window the Title of wow windows appear and disappear immediately (with the sound "keyclone open" then "removal alert"). I suppose they should stay in the list.

I use Vista 64 SP1, I saw on the forum that there are some issues with it and keyclone ?

I tried to make my wow.exe compatible XP SP2 on it properties, but that doesn't change anything.

    Need help please
Sorry in advance if my english seems a little crappy :S

Don't hesitate to correct my sentences if that's necessary ^^

    hmmm... looks ok.

when you run the commands... does wow pop up? does it end up in the keyclone list? (my guess is no)

Yes, when I run the commands, all the 5 wow pop up as expected, they end up in the keyclone list but are remove immediately.

wow1 loaded ("keyclone open" sound played)->added in the keyclone list->removed from the keyclone list ("removal alert" sound played)->wow2 loaded ("keyclone open" sound played)->added in the keyclone list->removed from the keyclone list ("removal alert" sound played)->wow3 loaded.......

Does wow or keyclone must be in a certain directory ? (I have them in D:\)
Does wow needed to be installed with the actual OS ? (I reformated 2 days ago but keep what I haved on my D:\ drive, so wow)

it sounds like there is a shell application launching wow... or the OS is putting some shell around wow.

you say you tried flipping CHECKing the xp compatibility mode and that didn't work... hmm.

i have heard of locale specific keyboard filters that allow you to type into applications using international (foreign to the US) keyboard sets. i just can't remember where it was set.

look around in the properties of the wow application (right-click/properties on wow.exe)

Yes, XP compatibility mode (and the others) didn't work

Do you talk about a Windows Vista feature or something specific that I would have installed ?

I tried to kill all the process not needed by the system, but that doesn't change anything.

I'll see this evening if I find something about that (at work atm), thanks for your help

I searched in the properties of wow but I found nothing of what you talk about.

As you said, It seems that some shell are putting around or something like that ...

Am I the only one who have this problem ?

    I'm on Vista 64 SP1 as I said. Must I go to XP ?

    Need a solution please

One thing I noticed, is that the wow windows are correctly add to the keyclone list (and stay in) when I use the "audo-add windows" option, but when wow are launch with the "connect" button or startup command, it was immediatly remove from the list ...
