Keyclone passes modifiers just fine for me, so I'm not sure why you say that... I have yet to encounter a problem with using modifiers in my macros. I have my mount/Ghost Wolf on 1 button with Ghost Wolf being a shift mod. I have all my important totems together, 1 action bar button per element, using shift and ctrl mods.
