Lets see if this can be the end all be all thread for slowbies like me that multi-box for fun and/or get distracted too often to really level.
So here we are with a confirmed date and confirmed lowered leveling requirements. For all of us that are trying to maximize their time and are habitual alt-a-holics, here is what I forsee as the preferred way to spend your time:
I personally have a few 70s and have ~10k gold via the old "Dust and Shard the AH" method and my shammy team is 62. I think I will continue to grind gold on AH and bang out a few levels while deciding what to do as I just got back in to the fun of it after getting my accounts Scroll of Resurrected. I may just call it quits for a bit on this team and start up another team or catch up some dusty alts or start up some RAFs...awe shit maybe i'll just deposit a few hundred bucks in to WAMU and see what happens.
- All Conditions - Log in once a day and slang your gear, do your dailies, make gold, rtff: http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/wrath/faq.xml
- Toons < 55. Go ahead and level them. If you want a death knight, your toon must be >= lvl 55. If you are full of character slots, pick the one you want to delete to make room for your deathknight from one of these toons.
- 55 < Toons < 60. Go ahead and level them to 60 in pre-BC content. You get the max return of XP per hour up to 60 in pre-BC content and save easy quests for later in Outlands.
- 60 < Toons < 68. Go ahead and level them if you want immediate day 1 WOLK fun. Patch 3.0 will speed up 60-70 leveling so you will be "wasting" time if you don't plan to hit 70 by then, so hold off a bit. WOLK starts at 68, flying mounts are not usable/unlockable until level 77...I would suggest doing what you need to get an epic land mount.
- 68 < Toons < 70. Up to you, I would say the ability to do dailies and perhaps have an unlockable epic flying mount would be worthy goals.
