Thoughts on new setup: Rogue + Mage

So I was going to do Troll Rogue + Troll Shaman. But then I thought of making Troll Rogue + Troll Mage. Basically, I just want to level up my rogue to 60 as fast as possible using RAF. I figured that massive DPS would get me to 60 pretty damn fast, right? Also, if I do decide to go with the mage, which spec? Pom? I've already got my second account all setup, so it's a matter of deciding which class combination to go with. The rogue would be my main while the mage melts face at range.

Any thoughts?

For practically non-stop leveling, I would match a Rogue with some kind of healing class. Shaman would make an excellent teammate with its buffs, heals, ranged dps and wipe-protection. A druid is another great match if you like to stealth a lot.

yeah i would go rogue+druid as well
In the lower levels it's just the same, leave the druid at the back and cast wrath, then heal when needed.
in the higher levels you'll be able to skip alot of annoying stuff with 2 stealth classes.
