Thread: RAF question

  1. #1

    Default RAF question

I've read through the RAF details a few times and I've got a question for all of you who're doing it.

What is the highest level at which you can grant levels to a lower toon on the master account? My understanding was that when you hit 60, all RAF benifits are gone for that toon, but that doesn't explain how people can grant a toon up to level 60.

    Thanks

    Default

you can grant levels after hitting 60, as long as you grant them before the 90 day RAF period ends. after that all is lost

    Default

You could level all the way to 70 and still be able to grant levels (but no higher than level60)

    very cool.

So, next question, what is the maximum number of levels each of the new account can grant per level. I've re-read the RAF post and it seems like a level 70 character would be able to grant 34 levels to the master account (69 levels gained /2 =34.5 = 34 grants). Am I reading this correctly?

You are correct the most levels on char can give are 34. Also make sure before you start granting level that the person is about to ding, because they keep the bubbles. So try to be at 59.99 then when you are granted to 60 you will be very close to 61.

Dont think so...I think the giving of levels is limited to 29 (59/2)....while I think you can give levels at 70, you stop earning them at 59. My Shammy ran gave out his levels at 58...he is now 62 and has not earned any more to give. Does not seem fair that blizz would not at least count L60...and make it 30.

You can only grant 29 levels. You stop earning grantable levels at 59 effectively. You can still grant them after 60 but you earn no more. You can only grant a toon up to 60 but not your level so you would need to be 61 to grant to 60. Best to get to 99.99% of whatever level and grant to 59, kill a mob and ding 60. Because you maintain the % complete of the level.

Actually, no it doesn't. I tested it out last night by taking a toon up to 98% of level one and then granting 2 levels. Ater granting the levels, my second toon was now 98% into level 3, roughly 1 mob kill away from dinging.
