    Default macro help

    Hey guys heres my setup and what I need.

    I have
    1 pally(tank)
    1 priest (healer)
    2 Warlocks (afliction)
    1 mage (not sure yet frost/ or arcane/fire)

    I will be on my pally as the main character. Is it possible to have my priest cast heals based on what my pally has as a mouseover target? Like if Im tanking a boss and want my priest to heal my mage I would just put my mouse over my mage and hit a macro that would have my priest find what my mouseover is and heal that target?

    Any good dot macros for the warlocks so I can just spam one button? I think last major patch they took out the ability to not cast a spell if it was already active on the target right? I know I use to have one that would not re-cast a spell if it was already active.

    Thanks guys

    Ive found that you can have a secondary character handle healing with the primary character doing the mouseover as long as you are willing to press the key twice and put a comma in your macro command ie.

    /castsequence [target=focustarget] ,Renew

    The comma before the spell renew allows your priest to aquire the mouseover target on the first keypress and then cast the spell on the second.

    You must also have your Primary character set as your focus, and the macro for your primary character would be

    /target mouseover

    If you set it up this way you will have to retarget the mob you are fighting with your pally after the spell is cast.

    Im trying to work it out in another way and ill post if i can get it to work

    trying not to have to re-target the mob :{

    based on what you said I think.... It would almost be like having my secondary healer cast

    /assist
    /cast heal

    and having my main(pally) target who I want to heal and then re-target the mob I want to attack.

    Dont want to have to break my target to heal :{

    What about having a key mapped to THIS on your pally:

    /focus mouseover

    and mapped to THIS on your priest:
    /cast [target=focusfocus,help] Renew

    Set the pally as your focus and make sure the pally's focus isn't really important.

    That way, the pally keeps his target (which is what you want). Of course you'll have to bind a lot of keys.

    Let me know what you think.

    A useful macro for your locks is */castsequence Immolate, Corruption, Siphon Life, Curse of Agony* This allows you to use one button to cast all your dots, you just keep pressing it and it will cast each spell in sequence.

    Thanks guys that healing macro should work. Ill bind the keys to the same key and broadcast it to my pally/healer and that should work great.

    Is there a way to reset the focus after a set amount of time?

    also this wont mess up my /assist /cast macros for the dpsers since I am not changing targets right?

    Ok, so I tried this last night and the macro was not picking up my focus focus

    I even tried to do /focus target on my pally and then tried to cast this script when I was not having anything targeted and it would not cast the heal spell :{ Is the macro right or do you have any other ideas?

    It works as long as I have some one targeted but I would rather not have to break my current target to heal some one.
