The first week of TBC, CEs were going for $150 each, sometimes more.
$150 x 4 = $600 (keep 1 CE for main)
$39.99 x 4 = $159.96 (new, regular xpacs)
-$349.99 (we bought the CEs) + $600 (for what we made on eBay) - $159.96 (for the normal xpacs) = $90
All xpacs free with monies to spare!!!
He has to buy 5 regardless so 5 collectors editions is $150 more than 5 regular.

Game stop was charging a $15 handling fee for CE online but not in the store. Be careful ordering more then one from Amazon, they were one of the placed that nerfed my 5 TBC order to 1.
I pre-ordered mine from my local game stop. 1 CE 6 regular. 4 for me, 2 for kids 1 for wife. I told them we will all /roll for the pet but I get to roll for each of my accounts
My guess is 2 - 3 months. that was about the time frame for TBC to be available for online upgrade.
