I don't have a pally tank (yet) and was going to boomkin tank, now that the reduced threat is in with the increased range, it's not looking too good.

It seems like Blizzard is moving more towards single tree builds. I remember when it first came out and we had our 31 point talents, you'd still see some people with 20/20/11 or some such. It doesn't seem like there's any good talents that make hybridization a viable option anymore. Sure, there's a ton of good talents all throughout each tree for most classes, but they all stack and build on other talents from that tree with few exceptions.
