My ex-wife was a pastry chef and when we first got married I used to be the same way with some of the stuff she made. On our first Easter together she made me a little basket that had painted (not colored but painted) eggs sitting on top of some green shiny grass. The thing was...ALL OF IT was edible. The basket was painted chocolate, so were the eggs, and the grass was candied. It was so amazing that she had to force me to break a piece off of it. I didn't want to ruin it.
