    Default Small maximizer problem(vista)

I have vista and have read all the info that i could find on problems with it (vista). I have followed the set up and it works fine, keyclone i mean. The problem i am having is that i can not get the bars on maximizer that allow you to put in your toon name and your mxfps. I have reinstalled and tried various other (shots in the dark) to correct it. Now do not get my wrong i can get all my screens to show up but it takes awhile to load and sometimes it just locks up my pc. I have yet to run a successful hour with out it locking up.I think the fact that i can not adjust the mxfps is hurting me not sure though.

Specs: 4g of ramm, asus m3a32-mvp deluxe board, 300g hdd 7200rpm, amd 9750 phenom quadcore 2.4ghz processor.

i think that the fact i cannot set the mxfps might be causing my pc to lock up or could it be that i am running to much of a ui on the toons. (alldeuceui) is what i use. Any info or direction to narrow my search would be helpful.

I am reviewing my hardware to make sure i have enough to run three.... So far it seems like i should. I wonder if it is just vista.
