I really don't think system usage will be an issue with a system like that, so it's up to you to get Vista or XP

I got Vista because I liked how it worked ... Driver availabilty sucks hard time thought, specialy for 64 bit. Don't know about xp 64 and drivers ..

    Welcome Zizx,

Not sure how to read your first question "How many wow chars can i box with this setup ?? ".

Do you mean "Can I safely run 5 clients -with such setup-?": answer is a deffo YES.

or "what's the absolute number of clients I can run ?" : each client will take around 500 mo of RAM so in theory up to 16 clients.
But then you have to dig into the GFX Ram usage as well, etc. Plus the monthly subs of course.
And you may want to check the capabilities of Keyclone and such too.

No worries, many players aren't native english speakers in this community 8)

You may want to check with Keyclone, not sure if -or even why- it's only better for two computers or more as you say.

I personally use Keyclone on a single Quad 6600 for 5 WoW clients and I can only recommend it for its ease-of-use for new MBoxers and his impressive dedication to customer feedback and constant upgrades (for free).

As the favorite question from professional marketers goes : "Would you recommend this product to your friends ?"
    My answer is YES.

So since you seem ready to spend a few thousands dollars on your new system, you may want to try his -obscenely cheap- USD 20 applet and make your own opinion by yourself.

6 drives in RAID0 is way to many points of failure for one drive, it WILL bite you in the end and you will likely not see the performance boost. I personally dismantled my RAID0 in favor of trying 1 wow folder per independant drive and i saw faster zoning times in my 5 boxing.

Yeah, I don't recommend a RAID setup either, unless you're doing a RAID 1 or RAID 5. (for fault tolerance)
