Default New to multiboxing BUT have some of it working! Some tips please.

Ok I got keyclone to work after spending a few days on it and watching videos over and over! LMAO I am now working on dual and triple boxing. I understand the unbinding concept now and have used macros a lot. I have a few questions on where I am confused on multiboxing. I was so happy when I got three mages to cast at the same time! lol

How do I accept quests simultaneously? Is it possible? If so, I assume it is a macro?

How do I use multiple classes in a multibox? Example: Rogue, Warlock, Mage, and Paladin? I basically want one of my toons to be a dedidicated healer for my main character.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

This is all very well covered in the wiki. Strongly recommend you look at some of the stuff under macros in there.

For accepting quests you accept it on your main and share it, then hit your macro (which you went and got from the wiki) to accept on your slaves.

For new peoples (like you and I) easiest is to minimize the number of classes. You macro similar or identical skills to the same key on different instances of WoW. Again, the wiki is excellent for this info.

Hey Mooshi. Welcome and good job doing some reading/watching. My two cents is to hit the Wiki pretty hard. Some advocate reading all of it at first, but my brain doesn't work that way. What I did was try to figure it out on my own and hit the Wiki when I got stuck.

What you need first is an all accept macro or a BIG BUTTON as I call it. Basically when my toons all log on I push a button on my main that is a macro inviting everyone to the group and setting loot to FFA. From here one of a few things can happen; 1) you can use an addon like Multiboxer or Jamba and set them to auto accept invites from your brain or 2) you just can have an accept all macro bound to the same key on all of your clones. This button will accept group invites, release spirit, accept rezes and accept shared quests.

Once you get a good feel for things I strongly recommend getting an addon like Jamba. It let's you coordinate several repeated tasks (like all taking the same FP) and helps keep your group together. I know you may have wanted some clear cut answers but the best thing to do is to learn how to fish for the info on this site yourself. It will make you a lot more self-sufficient and will help you appreciate the hard work the guys who have been doing this for years have done.
