    Default RAF Questions

    I have some questions on the RAF system.

    Here is what i want to do. I want to Multibox 5 accounts. X is main, ABCD would be the others.

    I want to be able to boost ABCD with X. Is there any way to do this and still give the levels to X?

    X->A, B, C, D?

    or would I have to start all my toons at the same time?

    Thanks!

    If you want to be able to give all your levels to X, then all the abcd toons have to be a higher level, and all refered from the X account. So, you could refer 4 accounts from your X account, then level abcd by itself and then grant X up. or level all 5 together and then use the abcd to get a few toons on to X's account to 60 or whatever. I am not sure what you mean by the granting over leveling together though.

    Search search search first. Many many many times this has been asked and answered ( I was a little guilty myself)

    Oh alright, here's the best single source of info on RAF on this site to my knowledge:

    New Recruit a Friend Features

    But to answer your question, if X is linked to ABCD putting a 70 in the group will douche your xp and you won't get bonuses, unless you drop or switch out the 70 at quest turnin time.

    You can't boost with a 70 AND get the RAF link bonus, it's one or the other. I had my best friend invite me so I can boost with my 70 and not waste the free levels completely.

    If you link X to ABCD and create a lowbie on X to group with the new guys, all the bonuses apply.

    Boosting assumes that X is a high level (70) toon that you want to use to run the others thru instances to power level them faster.

    If thats the case then no - you dont want X associated in any way to the RAF accounts. The high level will trump any bonus to XP. The only thing you will get will be the mount and the A,B,C,D toons can grant levels to a "lower" level toon on X.

    If you want to get the most out of boosting then you should create A - have A refer B, B refer C, and C refer D. That way the 4 alts get RAF bonuses and since the 70 isnt linked you can then use X to boost the others.

    You can do that but you will never be able to use any high level toon on X to boost the other 4. However with the triple xp RAF bonus you can level all 5 pretty fast as it is.

    Well, I used my main (X) account to refer myself 4 times. I thought i'd share my experience. I was able to activate 3 accounts, then on the 4th, i encountered a problem. It kept giving me the 203 error when i hit create-account. I googled up and down, and... quick work around without calling or emailing blizzard. Different computer, different IP. You will be able to sign up instantly. I know i've read plenty about people getting the Error 203 so i thought i'd post what worked for me.

    Thanks for the help guys.
