Default WAR boxing- question on classes

I've boxed a bit in DAOC and WoW. In WoW I had multiple mages and in DAOC I had multiple animists with a bard.

I plan to use a hardware solution (which is historically what I've used) to run 1 head toon and 3 following toons in WAR. I'm not confident that RvR multiboxing will be very feasible due to knockbacks, etc. However, I want to do it because I enjoy being able to run my own group when I want to.

I am having an extremely difficult time determining what class compositions to go with. I do know that I'll be going Order for sure. Typically, I would go with 1 healer and 3 ranged DPS but I'm also leaning towards running multiple healers.

I'd love to hear some thoughts from others here as to what group compositions will be viable in WAR to run with 4 accounts. For example, I've considered going with 3 bright wizards and a healer, 3 healers and a DPS, 4 healers. I'm just having an extremely hard time working out what may be viable and would love to brainstorm a bit with some of you.

Let me know your thoughts and thanks in advance.

I'm sure that the 3 BW and 1 RP combo would work.

I doubt 3 healer + 1 dps or 4 healer would be as good as 1 healer + whatever though (as long as not too many melee).

I don't know if you've played the beta or been keeping up but remember that there is collision detection so more than 2 box might get annoying.

I was on the fence about dual boxing this game but now that more CE are available from gamestop I am going to do WE + Zealot.

Very limited time in beta here. So, going along with the 3dps/one healer thought process what about 3 engineers and a runepriest?

Haven't played them extensively but engineer's pets are kinda defensive. Might be better to be squig (but it sounds like you want to be Order) or SW?

I am leaning toward 3 SW. They seem to have great dps since recent patch.

I'm not having much luck with a software solution for broadcasting keys to background windows. I may try a hardware multibox setup.

Also, afaik collision detection is only active toward enemy targets so that shouldnt be an issue except when running through a pack of them.

Hmmm yea I thought that too but a couple days ago I thought I was getting blocked by my own team. I wasn't really paying attention and thought "oh, I guess it's full collision".

I'm probably wrong though, so tired from work this week... and staying up late playing WAR beta

I loveeeee that there's collision detection though

I was going to say exactly the same as someone above, except the Destruction mirrors:

    3 Sorceress, 1 Zealot

3 Sorcs will kill any player in 2 casts.
Zealots are the best ranged Healer, having no finicky mechanic to worry about. They don't need to be mobile, they can hang in the back with your Sorcs and heal. As a bonus, while controlling the healer, you can use his defensive target to heal other players on your team while your Sorcs assist and nuke your Offensive target. This will net you more XP and RP, and generally help your team out more. Healers make or break Scenario games.

I would avoid Shaman for Healers, as they utilize a busier playstyle to be effective, and also avoid Disciple of Khaine, as they make great HoT healers, they can't deal with spike damage unless you choose to melee with them as well, and this requires a lot of attention. DoK do get a group HoT thought, which would assist in easily managing AE damage. My advice is still sitting on a Zealot Healer.

The Sorc/BW, at Rank 10, get a LONG duration root, which has a fairly large radius. I really can't see any other 4 man team surviving the focus fire and round robin CC you would be capable of dishing out. The only issue would be the unnoticed or Stealthed Melee DPS, which have the ability to tear your zealot or a Sorc apart before you could do anything about it.

The mirror to Sorc/Zealot, as mentioned above, is Bright Wizar / Runepriest. Good luck.

If I boxed this I'd definitely box a group of Sorcerers or Bright Wizards with a single healer to heal the kickback damage of their spells. Sorc are simply OP when it comes to burst. Closest thing to 5 shaman insta-gib and AP/POM pyro mages while everyone else has poor dps in comparison.
