    Default Octopus clicking.

    Hi all.

Just wanting to know how to set up octopus so that I can click with my other characters at the same time, to click quest givers and accept quests etc. I've used the wiki setup instructions but can't seem to get it to work.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Have you tried any of the tutorials that exist? *hint*

Hey, yeah I used your tutorial and read it about 3 or 4 times (the dual boxing parts anyway) but I still couldn't figure it out. I've gotten the keyboard part down and it works great, thanks. And thanks for the 5 mages one, that's awesome. But I still can't seem to get the clicking down. I have set Tab and hold for the clicking function but the other characters don't do any clicking of their own. My setup is 3 shammies, 1x computer and the WoW boxes are windowed behind one another.

Do you see "[k][c ] WoW (World of Warcraft)" or something similar for each instance in your main status window in the "Clients" subsection?

And you have all your buttons in the Server-->Clicks list?

Very strange indeed. I presume you've already double-checked to verify that "Hook mouse" is checked? Also, if you drag your Octopus UI out to where you can see it, then click one of the WoW windows, then hold down TAB, you see the status bar checkbox for "Broadcast: Clicks" check until you release tab? If you haven't done so yet, set up a sound for Broadcast pause/resume. Sometimes, wow doesn't get the active window (despite what it looks like) and Octopus won't send anything if wow isn't the active window.

[edit] I also assume you're not having any issues with keys, only clicks?
