    Default Tripple boxing

only becuase I don't have a place of my own yet and the room I rent it's has some size but not a master bedroom lol. 3 boxes is about as much as I could do right now hope you don't look down on me . If Sina works on releasing a "boxer's" I may have to pick one of those up.

    Support here is tremendous...

Whether you dual, triple, 5man or 30 man it no one here is going to look down on you for that.

Asking questions that are easily answered in the wiki and all the guides therein..... yeah that'll get ya flamed a bit. lol

You can also run multiple instances of WoW on one box, I run 5 instances on my machine.

    lol true.

well I can 2 box or 3 box on 1 machine. but I want to go the hardware route for pvp. It's like Xzin said it's faster. Now I am not getting fancy foot petals or anything.

I am going to have to disagree that using multiple boxes is faster then using 1 box with multiple clients. At least in some situations. Depending on how fast your computer is 1 boxing is the best solution.

Keep in mind WoW is a 4 year old game with 10 year old graphics. Blizzard intentionally aimed low with their system requirements. For that reason most well built new computers can run up to 5 copies of WoW at full frame rates. Also when passing the key presses to other clients there will be a short delay over the network compared to on the local machine, maybe 10ms, but its still something.

It might be a matter of preference, but to say that using multiple computers is always faster, is not completely accurate.

I have a trio, and I sometimes bring in my 4th account but normally its just my trio. I can run up to 4 accounts of wow with Octopus maximizer setup with no problems on my machine could probably even run 5 with no issues but I do not have a 5th account and don't really plan on getting a 5th yet, maybe later I will but right now I love the trio, getting a 5th would mean leveling another toon to 60, I could but Im lazy right now and work and life well we have to live don't we?

I sometimes get lag on the accounts but I dont think its because I am running them on same machine probably combo of server + multiaccount set up, like yesterday I was getting some nasty lag in BF needless to say I was not able to finish the instance since the tank was not happy and left the group after a couple of wipes.
    Daggerspine Alliance: Phoebus(Tank), Soozanuna(Heals/Tailor), Angakak (Enchanter), Wakantanaka(Herb/Alch), Znakharka, Jonhyone(JC), Marious(Other Tank/BS), Magnux(Enchanter), Coyolxhauqui(LW)

    Marious,

I have noticed something about WoW. I think its possible to get a memory leak when running more then 1 client after zoning. I never see this happen with 1 client, but once in a while I will get 1 instance of WoW that will not get back to 60 FPS after zoning. It lags and hangs around 20 FPS. If I close and reopen the clients they all run at 60 FPS again. Next time you lag, try closing and reopening all the clients.
