getting a toon restored[updated}

OMG help please. I accidently dleted one of my shamans(67) instead of the lvl 1 alt i just created. Anyone know where i go to get him restored


Holy crap i put up a ticket and went to make a burger. I came back and bam Toon is already restored.
Im off to send the CSR an email thanking them for the outstanding service. I cant believe they fixed it that fast. lol

Open a ticket in game. Might want to pay the customer service forum a visit as well.

edit: Relax as well :P it will all work out in the end you'll see

hey, i did the same thing..with my 70 lock...plz i no more abuse i took enough..lol...like the other person said u have to open a ticket...with a gm in game..and he/she will be able to restore ur character....sometimes takes awhile...for 1 to come along though..but...

You're welcome to query in one of two ways, Mi: via in-game petition or by emailing wowgm@blizzard.com.
In either case, please be sure to include the name, realm, class,
approximate level, and race of the character in question; with this,
note that you're willing to use a limited restoration for this
particular restoration.

It depends if there still exists record of the specific character.
While our systems do purge character deletions with fair regularity,
"older" character (those of higher level) do remain in our logs for
quite a while. The only way to find out is ask, eh?

There does not exist a tangible or set "number" of limited
restorations, my friend; they are simply a guideline by which our
department can record previous restorations, and to which we can
regularly refer to ensure that a particular player is not making light
of our assistance. We value context, and will take all mitigating
factors in to consideration before proceeding; thus, we ask permission
before consuming a limited restore, as its use will weigh in on future
decisions.

Yep extra dumb mistake on my part. Im on vacation this week and was trying to hit 70

Don't feel too bad, that mistake is easily fixable and you will be back up and running in no time Just remember, no matter how bad it is, there is always someone worse off than you lol. I myself had an account hacked with my 70 pally and 70 lock on it. They changed the password and because my mum set up the account in her name I have to wait til I fly over to Melbourne to get her to ring up Blizzard to have it changed back. (I don't go to Melbourne until late November).

Accidentally clicked the wrong char to delete, or? O_o Seems hard to do this on accident. xD

Anyhow, yeah, open a ticket and he'll be restored. :>

There is an undefined limit though. Some people have been known to keep swapping between alliance and horde on their server for example, one guy I know was told by a gm, when he swapped, that it would be the last time he could swap. As he was kinda abusing the system to keep going back and forth factions. :>
