So I configured my PiP for 5 wow clients. I have 5 regions, one is 1024x768 in the center of my screen (for my main account), and then theres 4 regions that are 800x600 slightly staggered in a square formation, overlapping each other but all covered up by the main account window.
In the maximizer configuration, I have the w,h for the main window set to 1024,768, and then also down by the maximizer enable option I have it set to 1024x768 as well. Then, for all 4 clones I have the windows set at the top to 800,600 and then down by the enable maximizer option i have them set to 800x600 as well. I have F8 set as the hotkey for the main window (region 0), and then f9-f12 for the 4 "clone" windows.
The problem is, when I use the hotkeys to windows, it takes way too long for it to be useful for anything like instancing or PvP (probably 3-5 seconds). Now, I just watched the maximizer setup window where it places one big 1260x1050 window and then 3 smaller windows to the side of that that are 420x350 each, but I noticed on the 420x350 windows it was still set to 1260x1050 down by the "enable maximizer" button...
Should I be setting all 5 windows to 1024x768 down by the enable maximizer option, and what is the difference between doing that and doing what I'm doing right now? My 4 wow clones are physically set to 800x600 in the wow video options and I don't want to increase that which will slow my setup down, nor do I want to decrease the video settings on my main window to 800x600, but the only reason I can think of that it would take 3-5 seconds to use PiP is that the main window and clone windows are different resolutions, and I'm wondering if the maximizer bottom resolution setting fixes that, and what other effects it has. Thanks in advance!
