Issue: (this is not a constant issue but happens more than not)

I load keyclone and then start selecting the separate commands from the drop down to load. When I load the second wow.exe window my computer slows to a crawl and the system pegs out at 100%. This lasts for about five minutes. During this time, the computer is unusable with the occasional change of mouse position if you try moving it. After the system “comes to,” the second wow.exe window finishes loading and I do not have any further issues with loading the third and forth window.

I was running my maxfpsbk and maxfps at 20/45 but dropped it to15/45 yesterday and had what I thought was an end to the problem. But this morning when I tried loading before system maintenance, the issue occurred again. I rebooted my system and the problem persisted.

This is a recent problem; I have run up to five wow.exe windows on this system before in the past with no issues. I have been running two and three windows for months without any issues either. I have not made any recent changes to the computer other than Windows updates and upgrade to the latest keyclone.

Anyone have ideas on the problem? It is more of a nuisance than a game stopper because everything runs great after I get past the “hiccup.” Thanks for the help.

OK, so I did some more troubleshooting and I believe that the issue is being caused by something internal to the World of Warcraft game files not keyclone, sorry for the bad tag.

I was able to run multiple windows from the original files in Program Files but when I try doing the same thing with the additional Wow files I created for multi-boxing the issue starts, and worse without keyclone for that fact. So, I guess I need to try and repair the install files.

I ran the repair.exe in the WoW files that I am having issues with and it seems to have worked. So, I hope it stays this way.

OK, so I spoke up too soon. I'm still having the problem above including the original files.

    Anyone have any clues?

Does it do the same thing when you run the WoWs without keyclone?

Yes, it has the issue using keyclone or not using keyclone. So I do not think it is keyclone.

Does the second one start slowly even if it is the only one running? How about starting the first one then the third one?

Thanks, but it is always the second one I start, no matter what the order, when ever I have one wow window up and I start the next one it bogs down, but after two wow windows are up, the next wow windows I start will open just fine.

I am lost on what could be causing this issue, I will be trying to do some troubleshooting on the hardware side tonight. Maybe I'll find something down that road unless any of you have some ideas I could look into.

I had the same problem and to fix it I bought 4 external usb 40 gb hard drives using a 7 port Dynex powered usb hub and placed only the wow program files on it and it worked. each page will hang as it loads but that is how wow works.....hope it helps

This happens to me as well. Not sure if this is a 'maximizer' problem or not. Before when I was using a single wow directory once the first screen loaded the others were right behind it. However when I run multiple copies of wow from different directories the second directory always loads very slowly. I wonder if you can rename one wow1.exe if it would make a difference.
