Maximizer/Video problems

I have searched the wow forums a bit for an answer to this but I just can't figure out how to make it happen ...

Basically every time I start up WoW either with maximizer or without (tried many different settings in the maximizer .ini file) the bit depth and color depth are both reset to 24bit with multisampling at 4X. Reducing this setting allows me to easily run my toons in Shatt, but currently I have to load individual copies of WoW (cannot use maximizer as changing video settings after maximizer loads screws up maximizer and puts the bars back on the window) and manually change the bit depths.

From what I can tell, this is a known problem on the forums, with an answer I cannot seem to find. I am curious if anyone has solved this issue for themselves, or has any suggestions for how to fix this nuissance.
