I'm considering adding a second computer to do 4 windows on 1 computer and 1 on the other (right now I do 5 on 1 computer and 2 screen) and I'm curious how that would work with the mouse ? how do I get the mouse from 1 computer to move the mouse of the other computer, optionally (ie most times I wouldn't want to move the mouse of both computers but only 1 of them - but sometimes if I'm just 2 boxing, having the mouse in sync on the 2 would be good)
does keyclone support/help for that ? if not what else does ? (yes I looked at the wiki but the mouse isn't mentioned in the comparison table)
First, you will need two licenses for keyclone. One for each computer. Now to get the mouse from one computer to the next (keyclone doesn't do that for you), I recommend KaVoom-KM version. I use both Keyclone and KaVoom-KM (not KVM). It allows you to seemlessly move your mouse from one computer screen to another computer screen. I do exactly what you are wanting to do. I run 1 computer with my main char, and a second computer with 4 chars. I use the Keyclone maximizer to create 4 regions on the second screen and load a char into each region. All I have to do using KaVoom-KM is move my mouse across the main screen to the alt screen and over the region i want to work in. It makes it so easy to accept quests and turn them in. You can get KaVoom-KM from www.lavishsoft.com The KVM version works differently and if you run Vista on both computers, it won't work at all. But I am very please with the KM version. It also lets you use just one keyboard. i do not even have a mouse or keyboard connected to my second computer. It becomes functional at the login screen when booting up.
