Default multiple computers - mouse support ?

I'm considering adding a second computer to do 4 windows on 1 computer and 1 on the other (right now I do 5 on 1 computer and 2 screen) and I'm curious how that would work with the mouse ? how do I get the mouse from 1 computer to move the mouse of the other computer, optionally (ie most times I wouldn't want to move the mouse of both computers but only 1 of them - but sometimes if I'm just 2 boxing, having the mouse in sync on the 2 would be good)

does keyclone support/help for that ? if not what else does ? (yes I looked at the wiki but the mouse isn't mentioned in the comparison table)

Now to get the mouse from one computer to the next (keyclone doesn't do that for you), I recommend KaVoom-KM version. I use both Keyclone and KaVoom-KM (not KVM). It allows you to seemlessly move your mouse from one computer screen to another computer screen. I do exactly what you are wanting to do. I run 1 computer with my main char, and a second computer with 4 chars. I use the Keyclone maximizer to create 4 regions on the second screen and load a char into each region. All I have to do using KaVoom-KM is move my mouse across the main screen to the alt screen and over the region i want to work in. It makes it so easy to accept quests and turn them in. You can get KaVoom-KM from www.lavishsoft.com The KVM version works differently and if you run Vista on both computers, it won't work at all. But I am very please with the KM version. It also lets you use just one keyboard. i do not even have a mouse or keyboard connected to my second computer. It becomes functional at the login screen when booting up.

I don't see KaVoom-KM on that site. I found it on http://www.kavoom.biz though. Also I run vista64 on each computer. It would be another $40 apparently though - isn't there some solution just for the mouse (free? cheap[er]?), not redundant with keyclone (or some replacement of keyclone with similar features + mouse handling ?)

or better: why isn't keyclone supporting mouse switching from 1 computer to the next ? (mouse switching as opposed to mouse broadcast - I guess maybe I can have 2 mice as a workaround... but I'm not sure I'd always pick the right one/would be slow switching)

I was going to diss all the other KM's.. (and maybe I should) but I do plan to have a nice snappy KM out in a couple of weeks (unless something goes seriously wrong:P) designed to work with keyclone, but I do not plan to offer mouse broadcasting - the Shockbeta modded Multibox is the only KM program that does that, but it's built in debug mode, so a bit slow, and jumps desktops :P. Otherwise, it's Multiplicity, Synergy (awful) or Kavoom.

so you mean an "M" software (as keyclone does the K) - that'd be nice if it plays well with keyclone and works with programable mouses (more then 3 buttons; like my g5) - would you charge for it ? how much ?

    thanks

My bad. I gave the wrong link. The link i gave you was for innerspace, which you do not need for this. You found the right spot. KaVoom.biz

You can use on two computers for one license.

a KM switch is where the keyboard and mouse go from one PC to another... can be hardware or software.

well I am supporting 5 button mice. I won't be charging any more than Kavoom, $40... but I am not sure yet.

I'll have a trial out some time soon hopefully
