    Default [Recommendation] SmartBuff (Automatic Buffing)

( I searched for the Addon and saw a few posts here and there inside random threads, but no threads for the Mod itself. If I am mistaken, please move it as needed!)

I've just started using a mod called Smartbuff and I just wanted to give everyone who doesn't have a buffing solution yet a good recommendation.

A little video that I made (And had to upload to WeGame because YouTube is not accepting Uploads ATM) that just shows what the mod can do. You just set each person to Party mode, set what buffs you want to use, and set a binding on each character. When the mod tells you that you need to buff, you just spam that key and all of your characters will buff themselves and the rest of the party!

this mod is great I have been using it for years and find it invaluable. Do not put Lightening Shield on it though if you have a habit of mashing the buff button

You can put Lightening Shield on it, just go into the options for Lightening Shield in SmartBuff and set it to refresh when there are 0 charges left.

Awesome mod for Tankadins. Especially for the ones who forget to put ret aura back up when dismounting, crusader aura up while mounted, and, of course, Righteous Fury / BoS.

If I don't have these buffs / auras up, every 5 Sec I have this flashing on my Screen.

    RUSH NEEDS RETRIBUTION AURA
    Thanks for the recommendation, Tony.

Quick question, I decided to give this a try. I used to use something similar called AutoBuff back in my MC raiding days. I've set a macro for it as per the instructions on Curse, however I get an error when I first log on and try to buff. There's an option to disable the addon or ignore. And of course, I choose ignore. Any idea how to include "ignore" into the macro so I don't have to manually click ignore 5 times everytime I log on? Thanks in advance.

You shouldn't need to use a macro to activate Smartbuff. You just need to bind a key to it in your WoW menu.
I have the Backspace key set on all 5 of my toons, and it automatically cycles through the needed buffs, or just says "nothing to do" if there are no other buffs to cast.

It sounds like you might have another mod that's conflicting with Smartbuff.

I put smartbuff on my mousewheel. I just mouse over to each screen and scroll through my buffs. I Never use the action button.
