I was doing the Sekketh quests in Terrokar last night, and this BE rogue was questing in the same area. I was mowing through the mobs, making some pretty decent headway, and while I'm doing this, i keep seeing the rogue run past, with 4-5 mobs on his ass, and getting killed fast. I grin, think "L2Pull", and go about my business.

I go to the other camp to get the bird boss, and the rogue is there again. And again, he keeps running past with 3, 4, or more mobs in tow. Boom, he's down. Boom, he's down again. Wow, he's really stubborn.

    Wait...

    No. He's not.

Watch him some more. Yup, he's trying to drag the mobs on top of me. He runs right up to me with several birdmen in tow, and /spits at me.

The mobs kill him, run back. I/lol his corpse, and move on.

God I miss shadowbane everytime I run across an asshat like this.
don't get me wrong, i loved shadowbane. to this day, it still had the best end-game of any MMORPG i have played. 200v200 battles over who will own player generated content (towns) lasting 8+ hours?! show me another game doing that these days

but the only reason UO was the best was this... when you killed the guy, you'd get everything... his bag AND his gear. he'd come back in a diaper (or death shourd).. sometimes apologizing for being an ass, and start asking for his stuff back. (one guy was such an ass.. i just kept killing him. it looked like TM when horde/alliance would clash). and of course... once in a while... in his bag... you'd find... a house key (SCHWEEET!!!)

I'm a very tranquil player normally, as a multi-boxer you get to deal with your
fair share of verbal abuse, which has never bothered me. I always help people
out if they ask politely (usually out of group). But if someone intentionally tries
to piss me off by stealing my kills/Q mobs, then I'll pay back with same coin.
Same goes for corpse-camping. I play on PVE-servers because that verbal abuse
I'm getting for multi-boxing, would be physical abuse if I'd play on a PVP-server,
    no doubt

If the guy stealing your kills is an AoE'ing class, you can just pull a good number
of mobs to him. Paladins, mages, warriors etc. If it doesn't work, fine, with 5
characters I'm pretty much immortal and I can just kill 'em myself.

Else you can just follow him and steal his kills in return, as OP mentioned.

Or you can log the other faction and keep attacking the quest NPC he's trying to
    talk to, that works too.

Just don't keep it up for too long or they'll no doubt report you for harrassment

And keep in mind the time you invest in this, could be put to good use doing other stuff..

I view these occassions as a chance to educate.

I teach them that if you are an arse bad things will happen.

I've done this ever since my solo days. I won't start something, but if you start tagging my mobs I will return the favour.

My favourite was when I was farming motes of water in the lake outside shattrath. (I'm on a pve server so no pvp option).

This hunter is sending in his pet and firing a shot on any eel I'm swimming towards. 1st time Ithink Okay it's an accident, 2nd time I'm thinking I'll give the benefit of the doubt, third time It's time for payback.

I was on an affliction warlock - and had been farming very laid back, pulling one or two. when he started doing this I decided to ramp up my efforts, and just swam into large groups dotting the eels up. if you've ever done this on a lock you know you can pretty much sustain this farming as long as need be. The hunter might have stole a kill or two , but from that point on he was finding it difficult to find any eel, needless to say he left.

I had this when levelling my rogue. Was hell back then, because the only ranged attack I have is throw and that's got a cast time with a crappy range (compared to ranged classes spells).
The benefit of being a rogue however was the ability to pop up wherever attacking a mob instantly (<3 shadowstep grinding). Didn't get it enough to bother me.

I had a rather funny occurrence yesterday. Helping a friend and a non-boxer, who apparently hates boxers, runs upto the quest area (need to burn down a tent).
I'd just done it on my main, not realising that each character had to drop a flag so I ran to the bulwark and back. Wasn't too impressed seeing this mage and druid waiting for me to pull the mobs around the tent, but thought "Hey two hits and they're dead" so kill them and ran in, then immediately got abused by the mage (non-boxer) because I used my quest item which destroyed the tent.
Proceeded to get abused for apparently doing a quest.
Normally I don't report it, but I'm kinda sick of the abuse I receive for no real reason. When confronting one guy I just got silence as an answer, really explanatory silence tho!

Had a fair share of nice people tho. A lot ask if they can join so they can quest, without realising theres 5 of me. So I do my little spread out macro and they normally say "oh .. heh 5"
One guy was killing the same mobs as me, so I left half for him knowing that I'd have to come back the same way to get out and could finish the quest by clearing out. Ended up spending about an hour helping him with quests, with him waitin around with me for respawns so I could finish too Gotta love it

YOU BUILT A HOUSE ON MY FAVOURITE PICNIC SPOT KEYCLONE!!!!

The most romantic spot in Britannia (the reasons for which won't be obvious to all).

Shame I don't have my screenshots on any of the machines here - we could start a memory-lane thread
